Empowering Choices Jail and Prison Ministry

Woman2Woman Empowerment 's Empowering Choices Jail and
Prison program is currently offered at the Tarrant County Jail in Ft Worth. The attendance has been incredible. The participation in the program is voluntary. The program is offered evey Wendsday from 6pm-7pm. The program offers faith based reentry focused materials and life management sessions to assist women in transitioning successfully back into the community. Some of the topics covered are self esteem, forgiveness, anger management and self control.
We are excited to be able to offer the program to women in Northeast Texas, Tarrant County.

Employment/Business Clothing

Woman2Woman Empowerment has a partnership with Dress for Success in Dallas Texas. We transport women who are in need of business and interview clothing to the offices in Dallas. Dress For Success gives them an outfit for the initial interview, everything from hose to shoes to undergarments to suits. Everything that a women will need to make a great first impression. Once the client secures employment they are able to get additional items from the program.

We are always in need of volunteers to help in this area. If you are interested in helping to provide this service to female inmates please email us.

Resource Researchers

Woman2Woman Empowerment provides another service to inmates. We offer a service which researches resources for soon to be released inmates. Inmates from institutions send a written request stating when they are being released and to where. They also request info for example on housing, employment services, mental health and support groups. Our research dept then locates these services in their relocation city and state. This info is then sent back to the inmate so that they can make first contact before they are released. This service has helped over 800 women.
